We are a registered charity with a board of Trustees and volunteers that meet regularly to maintain and develop the centre’s needs and finances.
There is a nominal fee of £7 for attendance at each session to help cover the cost of the meals. There is a £1 fee for the bingo if you wish to play, with prizes to be won.. The majority of costs such as rent, heating, electricity and insurance are paid for by the small grant that is currently received from the local authority.
It is the responsibility of the committee to apply for and use any grants received as efficiently as possible, maintain finances (including end of year accounts) and report regularly to the Charity Commission and Bradford Council to ensure that members are pleased and satisfied with what is on offer at the centre.
It is hoped that with continued support from council grants, public donations,
trustees, volunteers and the members themselves the Centre will remain open for
